Hello, I am a random american citizen, and I would like to announce that Mr. Potato Head will be running for president of the United States in 2012.

News Flash: Mr. Potato Head has a rival in the campaign. Garfield the cat has announced his campaign for president of the United States, saying "Like the American people should let a potato be president. It would like having Odie as president!" Garfield has not yet issued a statement on who his vice president will be, but rumors have began circulating saying he chose either Felix the cat or Smiley Muffin the cat, famous for her hit Youtube series "Cat News". Mr. Potato Head has no comment at this time.

Mr. Potato Head was born in May 1, 1952 in Boise, Idaho. He was born to Mrs. Potato Head and Mr. Potato Head Sr. at Toy General Hospital at 5:01 PM pacific time. as a boy he was popular in school and he was voted most likely to succeed in Boise High School. He had very good grades in math and literature. In 1985, at the age of 33, he ran for mayor of Boise, Idaho. However he got only 4 votes, which got him the record for most votes for Mr.Potato Head in a political campagin. He has not run since, however he was inspired by the election of Barack Obama, saying "The inspiriational election of Barack Obama has led me back into politics" Mr. Potato Head is currently being endorsed by Senator John McCain, President Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton. Mr. Potato Head is a member of the Potatoican political party. His Vice President has been announced to be the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
